A SCHOOLBOY has died after a horror two-car smash, seeing police urge witnesses to come forward.
Emergency services raced to a busy Lincolnshire junction on Monday afternoon after reports of the crash.
Cops and medics found a grey Mercedes and a white Mitsubishi had collided, killing the eight-year-old boy and injuring others.
Cops are now urging motorists who saw the crash, which happened at the junction of the B1398 and the B1205, Lindsey, to come forward.
Lincolnshire Police said: "We are saddened to confirm an eight-year-old boy has tragically died in a collision at [Kirton in Lindsey].
"Officers were called to a two-vehicle collision involving a grey Mercedes and a white Mitsubishi at around 1.15pm Monday.

"The collision happened on the B1398, at the junction with the B1205. Several people sustained minor injuries in the collision – however a young boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His family have been made aware, and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time. Specialist officers are working to support them.
"We are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as we look to piece together what happened.
"Video or eyewitness accounts before or after the collision could prove crucial and we are asking anyone with any knowledge to come forward.
