Jeopardy! fans stunned as new winner Mattea Roach reveals how she'll blow through her $32K winnings

JEOPARDY! fans were stunned when a first-time champion revealed how she'll spend her $32K winnings IMMEDIATELY.

Contestant Mattea Roach cut off host Mayim Bialik to share her plans on stage.

Mattea, a Toronto Canada-based tutor gave a lesson in on-camera candor during Tuesday's episode.

In Final Jeopardy, she bet $14K, winning with the correct answer to the board-game-related question about the classic game Life.

Mayim Bialik - hosting Season 38 when former contestant Ken Jennings isn't filling in - congratulated the new winner who scrabbled together a massive $32K.

But not before she exclaimed what she’d do with the winnings immediately:

"All my student loans are paid off," the player SHOUTED in the clip shared online covering her mouth with her hand, near-tears.

Fans flooded Twitter in shock as contestants don't usually exclaim their money moves AS they win:

"Jeopardy winner just exclaimed, My student loan[s] is paid off," one wrote.

"Today's Jeopardy winner just said 'all my student loans are paid off' and started crying I’m—" gushed another.

Someone penned: "Mattea on Jeopardy with the true millennial energy."

"Props to the girl on Jeopardy getting excited to pay her student loans off. Hopefully she can win again and do something more fun with that money!" noted a fourth.

Though one did bash: "Enough with the additional commentary Mattea thx."

Most however praised the tearful triumph: "This woman just won Jeopardy and the first thing she said was 'my student loan is paid off' while covering her mouth in shock LOL."

According to her Linkedin, Mattea graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020 with a BA in Gender Studies & Political Science.

MAYIM MAYHEM

Fans missed Ken as Mayim's hosting stay continued into this week.

"NO!! NOT ANOTHER WEEK OF BIALIK!!!" one fan bashed on Twitter amid yesterday's show.

"No offense, Mayim, but when is Ken Jennings coming back to @Jeopardy ? This is getting hard to watch."

Fans were stunned after one of Monday's contestants was prompted by the Big Bang theory alum to "BREAK a rule" and NAME her place of work.

Player Sarah Callahan was asked about her "Pulitzer winning" team by Mayim and bluntly responded that she is on the "COVID data team at 'The Times.'"

And last week, fans were upset when she dug into a DOCTOR with an apparent lack of bedside manner.

Contestant Yian, an anesthesiologist from Menlo Park, California, told a story about how he mastered a claw machine with his grandmother eventually, becoming a doctor.

Mayim responded: “That’s pretty awesome, but you didn’t become a surgeon, just an anesthesiologist."

After the tragic death of longtime host Alex Trebek, who passed away from stage four pancreatic cancer on November 8, 2020, Ken and Mayim took over as presenters of the popular game show.

They stepped up to the joint role following a brief stint from Mike Richards.

Mike resigned after fans slammed him for his past "misogynistic" comments.

New episodes of the classic game show air weekdays at 7pm EST on ABC.
