Milton Berle is an American comedian and actor. Berle's career as an artist spanned more than 80 years, first in silent films and on stage as a child actor, then radio, film and television. As the host of NBC's Texaco Star Theater, he was America's first major TV star and was known to millions of viewers as "Uncle Miltie" and "Mr. Television" in its early heyday. He has been honored with two Hollywood Walk of Fame stars for his radio and television work.
