Real Housewives of Cheshire's Lystra Adams addresses Christine McGuinness return rumours

THE Real Housewives of Cheshire are riding the waves this Christmas as they go cruising around Mexico.

Stars including Lystra Adams, Hanna Kinsella and Nicole Sealey have taken the usual drama on board - with Tanya Bardsley and Ester Dee making a surprise return for the occasion.

It's been heavily rumoured that former Housewife Christine McGuinness will make a comeback following her split from husband Paddy.

But Lystra, 45, is keeping quiet on whether or not bosses have finally managed to persuade Christine, 34, to return.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun ahead of the Christmas special, which sees the housewives set sail on Princess Cruises' Royal Princess ship, Lystra simply said: "I love Christine.

"I don’t see why [she couldn't make a comeback]. If she wants to come back she’ll be welcomed with open arms."

RHOC viewers are well used to the drama between Lystra and Nicole.

And Nicole, 43, recently confessed things still aren't great between the pair.

She told Closer: "I think I’ve made big efforts with her. Over time I’ve really made an effort and there’s no secret that I think it’s a very strained relationship."

Lystra on the other hand is remaining diplomatic when it comes to the issues between them and the potential on-board fall-out.

She said: "There was always going to be a bit of drama, I’m not going to lie, but I’m not going to say too much on it.

"There’s no love lost there, but it is what it is."

But Lystra did end up sorting things out with one of her co-stars during the trip.

She said: "I bonded with Hanna - who would’ve thought! Me and her actually getting on was a highlight of the trip for me."

During the last series Lystra opened up about her relationship with girlfriend Ashley - and, after Seema Malhotra recently insisted they'll give us the first RHOC wedding, it seems things are full-steam ahead.
