RIO Ferdinand’s Italian diner has been blasted by customers who called the food “appalling”.
The footie star’s Rosso Restaurant & Bar celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
But more than 250 visitors have rated the Manchester diner “terrible” on social media.
Chris, from Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, said his pasta was “tough as old boots”.
PD wrote: “The portions are very small and everything lacked flavour,” while Manccelt said the food was “overpriced.”
One visitor, Alex, claimed it was a “laughable” experience before ranting: “The whole experience from start to finish was an absolute shambles. Very disappointed and would never come back again.”
Liz, from Liverpool, said she was looking forward to a Christmas lunch at Rosso but alleged the restaurant cancelled on her in favour of other guests.
She wrote: “Rather disappointed to have booked this restaurant for a Christmas lunch for six to then receive a phone call to say booking was cancelled due to a private party."
Others complained on Twitter about the staff, with one writing: "Your staff are downright rude. Some customer service training wouldn't go amiss."
Another tweeted: "@RossoRestaurant I have been overcharged at your restaurant this afternoon. If once you have cashed up this evening the till is not £60 over, then you have a thief in your waiting staff!!"
Rosso won the 2016 Food Awards UK restaurant of the year.

Earlier this year a student claimed to have “almost died” after an allergic reaction to a cocktail at the restaurant.
One sip of Ciroc Colada sent student Amelia Bates, 22, into anaphylactic shock because it contained egg white.
She failed to read the warning on the drinks menu advising customers with allergies to speak to bar staff before ordering.
