Solange Knowles Loses Wedding Ring During New Orleans Parade: Report

Ring the alarm! Solange Knowles reportedly lost her wedding ring on Thursday, February 4, in New Orleans.

The piece of jewelry slipped off while the “Losing You” singer, 29, was taking part in the Krewe of Muses annual Mardi Gras parade, according to reports. Beyoncé’s younger sister is an honorary member of the community organization.

The Krewe of Muses website states that Muses are “the Greek goddesses who presided over the arts and sciences.” Members of the society posted about Solange’s missing ring on Thursday.

“Honorary Muse Solange lost her wedding ring between Toledano and Foucher,” its Facebook statement read. “Reward if found! Contact info@kreweofmuses.org.”

Hours earlier, Knowles posted a video of herself dancing before the big bash. “Aaaaaand it begins!!!! #turnupmardigras,” she captioned the Instagram video. “Thanks to one of my oldest and most lovely friends @itsjeremyscott for making me feel like a real Mardi Gras Queen in @moschino. So honored to be your Queen of Muses #kreweofmuses !!! We about to be turnt in that glitter shoe!!! See you soon Nola!” In the clip, Knowles appeared to be wearing a band on her wedding finger.

Knowles has been wearing the special bling since marrying director Alan Ferguson in the Big Easy in November 2014. The couple live in New Orleans with the star’s son Julez, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband, Daniel Smith.
