A FASHION fan hit the jackpot when she found an iconic Burberry trench coat in a charity shop.

Tina Gordon stumbled across the beige number with check lining at a British Red Cross store.

And as if the find itself wasn’t enough, the jacket was being flogged for just £20.

Modern Burberry trenches retail for around £2,000, while vintage ones are sold through online marketplaces anywhere from £200 upwards.

Tina penned alongside the video: “Never gonna beat this.

“Luckily girl syndrome is real.”

Another penned: “Blessed.

“Play the lottery girlfriend.”

Other viewers theorised that the cheap price of the coat owed to the fact it was being sold in Scotland’s fourth-largest city.

One moaned: “This price is also INSANE to me!

“I live in West London and I saw a Zara dress for £30 in my local Red Cross.”

Another laughed: “This would be £200 in my local charity shop.”

The Burberry trench coat was invented by Thomas Burberry in 1879 and has continued to be a desired piece over 140 years later.

According to the British fashion house: “With over 100 years of history, the Burberry Trench Coat is a global fashion icon.
